About Dr. Amit Aggarwal
Dr. Amit Aggarwal is founder and director of Niramaya Healthcare, Karkardooma and consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali. He is leading Urologist and Robotic Surgeon with expertise in robotic uro-oncology, robotic kidney transplantation, kidney stone treatment, prostate enlargement (BPH), prostate cancer, bladder cancer, sexual health disorders, male infertility, and reconstructive urology.
He completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Aligarh Muslim University and did his urology training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. At AIIMS, he received extensive training in urological cancers (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular, penile), renal transplantation, paediatric urology, advanced laparoscopy, and complex open surgeries.
Dr. Aggarwal further specialized in Robotic Uro-oncology and Robotic Renal Transplantation through a fellowship affiliated with the Vattikuti Foundation (USA). He was part of the team that performed the world’s first extraperitoneal multi-port robot-assisted kidney transplant and has received advanced training at Cleveland Clinic (USA), University of Pennsylvania, Global Robotics Institute (Florida), and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He has been bestowed with AUA travelling fellowship where he represented Urological Society of India in the US. He recieved KS Global Innovation Award for his work in Robotic Surgery. He has published various articles in Indian and International Journals related to urological disease and surgical techniques.
Training & Credentials
Dr Aggarwal has had an exceptional academic career, earning his MBBS and Masters in General Surgery at Aligarh Muslim University, one of the country’s leading medical institutes. Afterwards, he completed training in urology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Dr Aggarwal further specialized in robotic uro-oncology and robotic renal transplant through a fellowship affiliated with the Vattikuti Foundation, USA.
